I recommend you see a doctor immediately. Although you may not want to rely on medicine, if you have Type 1 Diabetes (most likely if you are not overweight) you need to be on a prescribed insulin therapy ASAP. Otherwise, you are doing permanent damage to your blood vessels, increasing your risk of stroke, and also damaging your vital organs such as your kidneys. It is better to be safe than sorry.Health Question & Answer

Before I was diagnosed (at 29), I drank 1/2 of the 4 litre jug of milk in the fridge. That's how thirsty I was and therefore making several trips to the washroom. also, infections won't heal and you are lethargic. I'm sure you can purchase urine strips at the drugstore to check the sugar in your urine if you don't want to see the doctor. But you should go to the doctor if you're having these symptoms.Health Question & Answer

Take a blood sugar test

You may need insulin, depends.

Dizziness is a major factor.

Frequent urination is another sign.

If you need insulin it would be for the best. Trust me, pissing the bed and going to the toilet every 15 minutes is something I never enjoyed.Health Question & Answer

Medicine is there for your health. IF you do not get properly diagnosed, and get good diet advice from a trained doctor, then you run the risk of permanently damaging many parts of your body. You have very good grounds to go and get checked out - please do so! Please!Health Question & Answer

excessive urination, excessive craving for foods and sweets... excessive thirst are some of the obvious signs of diabetesHealth Question & Answer

It sounds like you are a likely candidate. The doctor can perform one simple blood test to confirm. Give him a shot at it..Health Question & Answer
