Allergies are an inflammation due to an allergin. Your body is producing hystamines to protect us from the allergy invaders which inturn cause the allergy symptoms. Not too much benadryl. As we get older our allergies get worse due to exposures. I wouldn't recommend taking all that benydryl again it could literally knock you out - for good. It is the main ingredient to some sleeping meds. Health Question & Answer

Allergies are caused by your immune system overreacting to foreign substances. You should tell your doctor that you used to get high on Benadryl, so he can prescribe some other medication.Health Question & Answer
