Why do I itch when I exercise?!

Question: Why do I itch when I exercise.?
Whenever I do any physical activity, even if it's so small as doing 5 sit-ups, I start itching all over from my head to my waist. It's really horrible, and I've stopped exercising because of it. Does anyone know what I can do to prevent this.?Health Question & Answer

As your heart rate increases, so does blood flow, and therefore, blood rushes to your skin (which also causes the nice pinkness) and can cause itching. It's very common. Sweat can also be an irritant, which in turn, makes it worse.

As you work out more, your body will adapt. Health Question & Answer

its the swett from your body. hmm, it might not be a way to prevent that, but thats whats making you itch. now, if your talking about " while excersing" and ur body icthes, thats the poors opening and the swett driping down. but if your talking about after you work out, then the way to prevent it is just simply get a towl and wipe off, or take a shower. and shampoo your hairHealth Question & Answer

It's your blood trying to circulate to areas you don't always use. Are you out of shape.? It usually occurs in fattier areas. KEEP exercising! The less fat you lose, the less it will happen, until it doesn't happen anymore.Health Question & Answer
