What is this thing on my foot? ?!

Yep, this looks like a blood blister. This is totally normal, so you don't need to freak out. Don't pop it, or any blister. A blister is sort of like a callus. A callus is thick skin formed in an area over time to protect a small part of your body from getting hurt from too much rubbing. (Think your middle finger's knuckle where there's probably a callus from writing.) A blister is like an instant, temporary callus. Your shoes were probably rubbing your foot too much and your foot reacted. For now, you can get some blister band-aids. They're specially cushioned. They're also a little expensive, but they stick really well and you usually only need one box. Otherwise, look in the foot care aisle of the store and look for "corn protectors." I get those all the time on my big toe. They're a type of blister, called a Blood Blister, nothing to worry about, it will fade out eventually. You can buy some gauze to cover it and try not to walk too much. If you're really concerned you can see a doctor.

It's not a blood clot but a blood blister. Just means a blister so deep blood got into it and clotted. Like a bruise does under your skin. Sometimes you need to just let it heal on its own, other times draining it helps but you need to keep it sterile if it breaks open. Oh jeez man I dunno, but it doesn't look good. I would go to the doctor or a dermatologist. Kinda looks like a wart or a blood blister. Warts on your feet can hurt but I dont think its a clot. Dont pick it though, you'll only irritate it. Good Luck.Health Question & Answer
