ok when i was 13 i masturbated a lot i was just curious then i stopped and now im 16 and i masturbate a little i feel so bad about it but sometimes i just feel like i really want to, i have never had sex and i won't until i get married and when i watch this stuff i don't think of someone i love or something i just watch for no reason I am Christian and i go to church every Sunday and pray everyday so what i sometimes do.. is it normal or a sin.?Health Question & Answer

yes---it is considered a sin. dont listen to them when they say it cant be a sin because its natural. Sex is natural too, but if you do it when youre not married, thats a sin. Just because society accepts it doesnt mean God does. ok, yeah it feels good, but so do doing drugs and alcohol--- which is a sin. the fact that you are even questioning whether its a sin or not means that you know something isnt right. Odds are that most of the people on here encouraging you to go ahead and do it are not right with God anyway, and if they died today would be going straight to Hell. No. There's nothing in the Bible saying it's wrong although it is still believed by some that the story of On an (hence the name Onanism) speaks against masturbation.
The fact is, On an was not punished for masturbating. He was punished for breaking a Jewish law that required him to marry his brother's widow and produce an heir for him. Instead of trying to get her pregnant, he chose to masturbate.

i dnt think its a sin because if ur under the age of 18 and aren't married than its nothing because you could be having sex which is a sin if ur not married also its a natural thing lots of ppl do it and u no u wnt get a STD from masturbating!!!Health Question & Answer
