NON-DETECTED STD'S??? What does that mean?!

Question: NON-DETECTED STD'S.?.?.? What does that mean.?
I got tested for Herpes, Syphillis, HIV, Gonoreha & Chlamydia 2 months after sexual exposure.. they were all "NON-DETECTED" Does that mean the test came up wrong.?! Like a false negative and I need to take the tests again.? Or the test just couldnt find it.?.? Health Question & Answer

Answers:
Non-detected or non-reactive means you are negative of those STD's when you took the test. If you had unprotected sex with someone after your tests or the day before your tests, the STD's may not have shown up yet (but you waited 2 months, so non-detected means negative for everything you got tested for!!). It is recommended to get tested for STD's every 6 months when you are sexually active. However, that your STD tests came back negative, get tested again in 6 months (for your regular STD testing). Remember to always use protection! I hope I helped! :)Health Question & Answer
