Question: Is this melanoma or nothing.?
I had melanoma on my leg and had it removed a couple of years ago. I have 2 pinhead size spots on my chest that fit the criteria for melanoma shapes and color but my general practitioner said to just watch them and not to worry unless they "grow legs" and change. They are so tiny but they are irregular in shape (the borders are jagged, etc.) Does that doctor know what he is talking about.? Should I get a second opinion.?Health Question & Answer

Since you have already dealt with Melanoma once, you should be under the care of a dermatologist that specializes in skin cancers and Melanoma. The GP might give good advice on acne and the flu, but Melanoma can kill you.
What you describe is small, but new mole growth needs to be checked out.

I would definitely go to a dermatologist for a second opinion.
If you hadn't had skin cancer before I might wait and see but since you have already had melanoma and these look similar then you should go get them checked/removed asap. Especially if they're new or you haven't always had them. Health Question & Answer
