Will symptoms from mold go away if I move out?!

Question: Will symptoms from mold go away if I move out.?
I think I have mold in my condo because it smells like mildew and I have water stains on the wall. In the past year or more I have not been feeling normal. I feel faint often and my sinuses are bad. I always have a runny nose, year around. I do not feel as smart as I used to be. Things don't click as well in my head. I often make dumb mistakes I never used to make before.
So assuming this is from mold in my condo would these symptoms go away if I move out.? How long would it take from them to go away.?Health Question & Answer

Answers:
in truth, no one knows.

we truly do not have very good scientific evidence that the "sick building syndrome" exists. That does not mean it does NOT exist -- the idea has just not been scientifically proven.

Sure, we've all read the reports of a few people here or there who've had bizarre complaints, moved out of a building, and gotten better. But that proves nothing. I can also show you people who have been given sugar pills and claim that their chronic fatigue, insomnia, and body aches miraculously vanished (because they thought they were getting active medication).

Here's my advice:
1. See your doctor first - treat any treatable medical conditions first - such as asthma, any neurologic condition that can be identified -- and most importantly your year-round allergic rhinitis (which you definitely have). At a minimum you should try Nasonex every day for a month and see how much that improves your symptoms

2. At the same time, repair any water leaks, remove any damaged dry wall or wood, and rid the house of mold.

3. if all that is of no help - consider moving -- but realize that it would be very UNlikely that this would help your symptoms. You should not be surprised if you go through all the trouble of moving 1000 miles, and yet all your symptoms remain unchanged. This has been the experience of many people who have come before you.Health Question & Answer

Believe me you would know if it were causing you problems. I had a stem pipe break under my apartment which caused mold to grow. I had fungal spores in my lungs and developed pneumonia.
I think it only took 2 weeks and I coughed everyday. So bad that I cracked a rib. If you are exposed to mold it causes bronchitis and when that's not treated pneumonia. If you have no respiratory problems then no its not moldHealth Question & Answer
