i been smoking marijuana and cigarettes for 6 years. probably a pack in 3 days. with 2-6 joints per day. i noticed when i exhale through my mouth slowly i hear a whistling sound. could it be asthma.? can i get asthma from smoking because when i was little i never had itHealth Question & Answer

idk maybe emphysema or bronchitis.my boyfriend wheezes all the time and coughs up stuff.he mainly just smokes pot alot though but he refuses to do anything about the wheezing.and hes used my inhaler and it doesnt do anything for him so i guess its not asthma.I dont think you can get asthma from smoking though.i have it bad now since i started smoking but ive had it since i was 10.i kno im quiting dont lecture!

my parents used to smoke pot and cigarettes around me all the time i had what your describing i left it for like a year and i still had it but it had got worse i had developed quite bad asthma it most likely from the second hand smoke.
it could be asthma bronchitis copd or the other one
better to gett checked out then leave it cos one day you might have left it to long

Yes you can get asthma, emphysema and certainly COPD(Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease). Sounds like you have it. You have abuised your lungs too long. First, quit smoking----ANYTHING.Next see a doctor qualified on pulmonary problems. He may save your life.Health Question & Answer
