firstly if you found it, i would pop down the vets and get it checked over.
i took in a stray cat and once he was checked, i didn't bother with boosters as he was an indoor cat (live on busy main road).
but no i have moved and he is an out door cat he gets done.

It could get rabies and spread that to you. It is kind of unlikely, but it could happen. I think most of the other shots cats get are to protect the cat from things that don't infect humans. Health Question & Answer
