If you around children and have no other symptoms, your problem could be caused by pinworms. I have a 9 year old who often complained of an itchy anus. I used an OTC remedy called Pin-X, my druggist had to order it though(at no extra cost). I gave the whole family a dose and he hasn't complained since. For more information go here:
