What to do when you feel depress ?!


Question: What to do when you feel depress .?
I've been feeling down lately and i don't know what to do anymore.I'm taking medication and i'm seeing a psychologist for about a year and i don't feel that it helping(i feel i'm talking to myself and she's repeating what i've just said.).My family is very dysfunctional and i have no friends.My doctor suggested me to stop working due to my condition.I don't know what to do.I live in a apartment and i just stay in my room all day.Health Question & Answer

Depression may appear to be simple fatigue or a general feeling of ill health: you just don't feel good and you may not know the reason why.
The future may seem to hold no promise. There is a sense of loss: a feeling of defeat or of having lost something-or someone-important. In medical terms, most depression is "reactive," meaning that it is a reaction to an unhappy event. It is natural to have some depression after a loss such as the death of a friend or relative or after a significant disappointment at home or work. If however the depression is so great as to disrupt your work or family life for a substantial period, put a time limit on it by making an appointment with your doctor.
If the depression is so severe that you have considered suicide, call the doctor immediately and get help. Regular exercise is as effective for mild depression as the drugs usually prescribed by doctors. And good luck. Health Question & Answer

When I get overly depressed I go lay in a tanning bed for 10 minutes. This is a dismal time of year and sunshine seems to help, however if the sun ain't shinning there is always a tanning salon around. Of course you have to be careful as tanning beds/sunshine don't always mix well with certain drugs.

just turn on some music and move!
go out and meet people, the more u sit there the worse u'll feel!
take up a hobby, [play with clay or play-doh(it works!)
i took up crafts
