Pimples?!? HELP! 10 points to best!?!

Question: Pimples.?!.? HELP! 10 points to best!.?
I use this clear pore astringent from Neutrogena and I'm planning on getting a Clean and Clear acne cleanser of some sort but all of a sudden I see small pimples like on my chin, near my nose, on my nose, and on my forehead. And I was stupid enough to use a nail clipper to try and trim up my eyebrows and it left small little bumps near my eyebrows when I accidentally plucked there. And they look like pimples as well! I have one pimple that's finally healing but I can tell it's going to leave a pink scar!

I have side bangs, so I think that's how I got these 2 zits on the top left corner of my face, but they're so disgusting! And I'm just afraid all these small little pimples will turn big and I use this Neutrogena Clear Pore face mask every chance I get but I don't think it's helping too much!

I mean, this just happened not to long ago and now I'm noticing more and more pimples and I'm not going through puberty, trust me. I'm sure it's just stress and oil but I'm freaking out all these spread out pimples will get worse and spread even more.?!.? (and I can't spend too much money on ProActiv or something like that!)

Answers:
Many stores have cheap acne creams and face cleansers that actually work. I would suggest going for cleansing pads or Benzoyl Peroxide cleansers. They really help but nothing can make pimples go away overnight, trust me -_-.

And a few tips: Don't pop the pimples. It can hurt and may cause more. also, don't overuse your cleansers, as it makes the pimples just become redder and harder to get rid of, and may cause more. Never use any out-of-this-world treatments as they rarely have a "good" effect. Health Question & Answer

pop them, apply salted water and then toothpaste overnightHealth Question & Answer

The pimples you are seeing were just under the skin waiting to erupt.
Hair & oil are some of the causes but so is hormonal imbalance.

your acne won't go away over night and most of us want help immediately, like yesterday. However, you might want to try a couple of simple applications that worked for me and my friends for spot treatments.

?Soak a cotton ball in Witch Hazel and wipe it over your face, paying special attention to the area that is broken out. This is a good astringent.
?Preparation H is great for reducing redness and continued use will shrink the pimple considerably. This is also great if have opened any pimples and it lessens any scarring that could occur.Health Question & Answer

Don't spend money on products for now. It's too soon.

Instead...

...find out whether you acne is hormonal or not.

Here's how to do this.

Think back a little. Do you remember where you broke out first.?

Was your first pimple on your chin.?

or...

...was it on your nose or forehead.?

If the answer is your chin, then most likely your acne is due to your hormones.

But if the answer is your nose or forehead, it's due to some external factor. Maybe your touching your face with an object or your hands.

Now if it's due to your hormones this is going to be harder to treat. Normal skin care products will not be enough. You might require acne medication.

But if it's due to external causes, it's going to be a lot easier.

By now you should know what's causing your acne. Now you must find out your skin type. that is whether you have:

1) Dry skin

2) Normal Skin

3) Combination skin

4) Oily Skin

5) Or Sensitive skin.

Knowing your skin type determines what treatments or products work best.

In other words...

...if you use products that are wrong for your skin type, you can do more harm than good.

So get a skin analysis.

You can have one at the following website:

http://www.facialskincarefacts.org/Facia...

Alright by now you should be able to tell:

1) what's causing your acne

and

2) your skin type.

Now shop around for the proper treatment. One that will treat the cause of your acne. And work well with your skin type.Health Question & Answer

I know pimples suck, but freaking out about having them only makes them worse because of all the stress. it sounds like you have sensitive skin. it is possible that the face wash and products you are using are making things worse. maybe they are drying out your skin which upsets the balance of your skin, creating pimples. use some concealer on them and set it with some light powder compact. it will look natural if you get the color that matches your skin tone. ease up on all the over the counter products. there is lots of crap in those that can make things worse. a simple facial cleanser for sensitive skin would be my advice. the doctor can definitely presecribe some cream that could work very well- and be pretty inexpensive if your insurance will pick it up- most insurance plans do. good luck- it happens to all of us, and i bet it doesnt look half as bad as you think :)Health Question & Answer

My cousin used to get a PanOxyl bar from her dermatologist when she was younger and it worked really well for her. Now that I have a problem with acne I bought the same thing she used to get and it works really well for me. The only thing is that a good moisturizer needs to be used in addition to the soap because your face will become extremely dry. You can get the soap at any drug store or places like walmart, here is what it looks like if you want to try it.
