You will be fine; just don't make it a habit.
Alcohol intensifies the sedative side effects of Paxil. A lot of people do drink every day while taking Paxil. I have taken Paxil for many years and at times did a little too much drinking - much more than your little bottle of rum. I was fine.
You do want to not over work your poor liver that has to filter all of this stuff out of your body.

I was a prescribed drug addict for 15 years. Taking drugs with alcohol speeds up the effects of the drug. But depending on your body size you could overdose and die doing that. The fact that you are taking drugs and booze together tells me you are a drug addict or well on your way.
