I am 47 years old and have battled that crazy eczema all my life. I still get it once in awhile but I have found something that helped me alot. There is this foam stuff that a friend of mine got from her doctor for some rash she had and I tried it.... it worked for me and only within a few days. If you know you have eczema then I'm sure you have a doctor, ask the doctor for a prescription for Luxiq. I'm telling you it works... for real!

I know those red patches are embarrassing people look at you like you have a catchy disease or somethingHealth Question & Answer

I'm allergic to dairy (found out by an allergist) and I have exema too. Mostly on my scalp but also on my arms. It itches most of the time and I just deal with it. Frankly, I've gone cold turkey on the dairy for weeks and it just doesn't help that much as there is milk products in everything these days. I do try to cut way back tho.

I use an anti-itch cream for my arms and lotion and for my scalp, I shampoo with an anti-itch shampoo. Health Question & Answer

There are many types of eczema some includes the lack of nutrients.
such as aloe vera, vitamin E and many others.
Try to consume more products that are rich with this nutrients.
also try to moisturise your skin as often as possible, this will relief from the itchiness and avoid the quick spreading on the disease.
Oh and also try not to wear wool cloths instead wear cotton clothes it will really help to relief from the itchiness.

Health Question & Answer

I'm 14 and I've had eczema since birth there is NO way at ALL to get rid of it permanently but i know during the winter for me especially it gets extremely bad because your skin gets easily dried out & like you say the eczema cream works sometimes but lotions for especially dry skin like Eucerin works wonders I'm telling you lol because i know how it feels all that itching and scratching is so not fun & as for the marks, like i did you should ask your doctor for a fading cream, i use Alphaquin HP 4% Cream ( Hydroquinone USP, 4%) , it's a prescription only skin bleaching cream with sunscreens, and if you get it make sure u just put it on that one spot of the scar, and it won't just instantly clear the scar in a week it may take months for them to be completely gone but you will see some results within that time i hope i was some help?Health Question & Answer
