Question: I lost my 2 uncles and great grnandpa it is hard and i have been thinkng about it alot latley what do i do.?
I lost my first uncle about 7 or 8 years ago and He did like drugs and stuff i cant really go in detail...I was really hard...I lost my other uncle just recently this summer, he had like clogged heart or something like that...he was on a job i think he did like instilation or something like that i dont really remember but all of asudden he had a heart attact...he was only 27 years old he had a wife and a 1 year old little boy or dyounger I dont remember that detail either... It was very hard to take in...he was like the uncle that replaced my 1st uncle ( but no one really could replace him). I was not able to go to the funeral because it was like 3 or 8 hours away it was very very far and we were going to have to drive there so I was not able to go it was hard not being able to go... Then I lost my great grandpa like 2 or 3 weeks before christmas last year...he was the pastor of my church 42or43 years he built that church and it is not much with out him anymore.. he was a wonderful guy he died of caner and fluide in his lungs... that was also very hard to take it...expeccially since i hadent ssen the choir at the church in awhile and he used to sing in it and it was hard not seeing him up there i bout cryed...also at his funeral they played him singing one of his favorite songs and it made everyone cry histarically.?.?.?

so my question is why did god have to do all this it puts so much pain in everyones life...And why would he take so WONDERFUL people they were just amazing what do I do to not think about it as much.?.?Health Question & Answer

Since you had a great grandpa who loved the Lord, you can expect that you will see him again if you also love the Lord. As for your other uncles -only God sees the heart of a person and no matter what we think of whether they were good or bad in this life, God is the judge of that person.

But - while many people believe that God is the one who brings all kinds of calamities/troubles - people who really know God and the Bible - realize 1) we are in a daily battle against the things of this world ( temptations, diseases, death, etc).

And 2) the Bible says that GOD is the giver of GOOD things - so that means that the bad things are NOT coming from God!

The way to get over this sadness and struggle about the death of the ones you love (and I know because we lost our oldest daughter aslo) - Is to think of the happy times you had with them and NEVER think of how they died or dwell on why they died. The Bible says: Everyone has a certain number of days - and when that time is up - you go on out of this world!

I hope this helps - it was the same advice our pastor gave us about our daughter when she died and it did help us cope with her death - little by little. God bless!

Write your thoughts out. That's always been helpful to me when I'm trying to figure things out like what you've described. You'll be documenting memories you have of these people; and you will treasure them when you rediscover them years later in your own life.Health Question & Answer

I'm not going to give you any advice on your religion - all I can suggest in that regard is that if something doesn't make sense, it probably isn't true.

Atheists have it easy with stuff like that - we don't see things as 'meant to be good', so we are just happy for the few things that are.

But if you can look beyond your religion, and think like an atheist for a moment, it might be a little easier.

They were alive. They had pleasures and pains and loves and family and all the rest that this momentary life has to offer. They are gone now, and while that may be hard for you, it is not a problem they have to deal with.

They were lucky for their brief spark of awareness and existence - be happy for them.Health Question & Answer
