I've had problems with them for my whole life.
Try a heating pad and some ibuprofen... and see a doctor as soon as possible (or someone who can write perscriptions... urgent care, nurse practicioner). I always need an antibiotic, then the pain clears right up and the path to recovery is set.
Rest also. I usually get them if I do too many things after having a cold or having been in a situation where my immune system was working overtime when it shouldn't have been.Health Question & Answer
