I have both and take medication - Seroxat and Reboxetine.

I think it's normal every once in a while feel anxious or depressed. Say depressed because you lost your pet or anxious because it's your first day to school. The body has always ways and means to deal with it otherwise if it's extremely uncontrollable then you might seek psychiatric help.
In different parts of the world, depression is not common, no matter how experts explain that malnutrition, stress, food, genetic, lack of sleep etc etc can lead to depression, but other people handle it too well despite poverty, pain and lack of education. I cant explain why they are more capable of handling it. Sometimes you have to just stop thinking about the problem that's causing the depression. Think about the ways you want to your life to be and believe that it will happen. If your depress then you must be thinking about something that's bad in your life 24/7, feeding all your energy into keeping it alive. Yeah, I did have anxiety and depression. Went on various anti-depression medications over 10 years but the depression would eventually win out and I'd have to change medications and add new ones. I was a drugged up mess and the only ones that benefitted were the pharmaceutical companies.

Hi.........I don't know how old you are.......but , Do not allow yourself to get so deep into you, get into others, get into a book, eat correctly, light exercise, just walk if nothing else, the deeper you get into your self the more screw up you become. Accept yourself and others for who they are. Try not to drink alcohol, or do drugs, and if a doctor puts you on something, try and keep it mild. If you get stuck on it, it takes a long time to break free.......but the good thing, is that it will try and change the chemical imbalance and help you learn to think better.I can give you a lot of things, but it depends on age also. Be happy with the way the world is........you can't change it......but accept yourself for who you are..........Here's something, I try to carry with me....."I do not allow myself to think that way".........Sin = It's a disease inside each and everyone of us.......how can I beat it down.?.?.? Love is patience, kind, and understanding. Not all the negatives, jealous,boastful,proud,I know you know what they are, you can feel them inside........push and hold them........train yourself to be good without being used by someone.
