I don't know way my child always coughing and wheezing and his not sick. Can he have allergy's to milk or cat's.Health Question & Answer

Answers:
Oh my, it is very obvious that your child most likely suffers from asthma. Wheezing is usually the key diagnosis for asthma. Furthermore, if he is coughing more at night when he is asleep.
It is time to see the doctor and raise this concern.
Allergy to milk will not usually cause wheezing and cough. However, allergy to cat may be one of the main reason. Even so, you still have to go to the doctor and get it properly diagnosed. Your child most likely has to take some asthma medication to help with his breathing. It is important as it is not good to have his breathing obstructed. Furthermore, it could affect your child's growth if asthma is not properly treated.
Nothing to panic about, but please bring him to the doctor asap.Health Question & Answer

Constant wheezing and coughing are a sign of allergies. The only way to address this is to take the child to the doctor for evaluation and possible allergy testing.

Then, you can do your best to remove the allergens from your child's life, give the child medications that control the allergy if you cannot remove it, or a series of allergy shots that will desensitizd the child.

It is important to do this. If your child feels miserable because of allergies it will he hard for the child to learn in school later on. Mucuous that builds up in the nose, throat and chest because of allergies make a good breeding ground for germs, so your child will get sick more often. Your child will also be more likely to have ear infections that require medical attention.

By having your child checked now, and by controlling the problem now, you can prevent a lot of suffering for your child in the future and save a lot of medical expenses in the long run.Health Question & Answer

you should get him tot he doctor he may have allergies, asthma or a combination

it could be an animal, food or environmental allergy...he is old enough for them to start allergy testing....and the allergy shots will help....as much as they are hated...i went thru them for like 6 years

they started my testing when i was 4....the found out i am allergic to feathers, raw tomatoes, dogs, strawberries and choclate....now as an adult i have developed a tollerance for dogs unless they are indoor animals or very shaggy....straberries still give me hives (i look like a strawberry) but i can tollerate small amounts like strawberry ice cream...tomatoes i am ok with and i can have cmall amounts of milk chocolate (like i can eat a candy bar with a chocolate coating but not a chocolate bar)....feathers on the other hand still give me severe headaches...Health Question & Answer
