It depends if you are going to be put to sleep or if it's local numbing.
If you are asleep you will experience some mild discomfort after.
If you have a local the numbing shot will not be pleasant but not horrible. After that no pain but you will feel the pressure of the surgery.
Recovery time of the eye is quick. You should be able to wear make up in a week or so.
