I had the same thing once. Dentist filled tooth but, I still had pain and unpleasant sensations. So he thought the filling was filled to much on the tooth so he kept filing it down but, that wasn't the solution. The problem was there was a hair line crack on top of the tooth he misread on the x-rays. This was also a molar tooth. Dentist said very hard to detect cracks on top. So maybe that is your problem. Health Question & Answer
When I had my first filling they were fine. Literally once its been filled it stops hurting.
You might of needed a root canal, quickly go back to the dentist. Get them to re-fill it again, or have a root canal, this takes out the nerves so it wont have any feeling in it.
Sometimes feelings don't work first time.
I've never had this problem with all my three filings.Health Question & Answer
