Answers:
Canker sores usually go away without any treatment. For pain relief, you can try taking ibuprofen or Advil or Tylenol. Other medicines, such as Anbesol, Orajel, Orabase and Zilactin-B, might keep your canker sores from becoming irritated by eating, drinking or brushing your teeth. These medicines are applied directly on the sore.

Canker sores aren't contagious, but usually when you get one, you will get them frequently in life. You can't really do anything to prevent them. However, using a toothpaste that does not contain SLS (sodium lauryl sulfate) or other irritating ingredients, avoiding chewing gum, hard, crunchy or spicy foods may help reduce mouth irritation. Brushing your teeth after meals, using a soft toothbrush and flossing every day will also keep your mouth free of food that might cause a canker sore.

You can try adding salt to a glass of water, and gurgling that in your mouth for a minute and spitting it out. It might sting, but it will clean the sore and help heal it.Health Question & Answer

I am going to explain about canker sores as they're very common and I see a lot of questions about them. They're small ulcers that appear inside the mouth. They are not contagious and the exact cause is uncertain. Inmune system problems, bacteria or viruses could be the reason. also stress, fatigue or allergies can increase the likelihood of a canker sore. They usually heal on their own after a week or two but an outbreak may occur. Over the counter products like anesthetics and antimicrobial mouth rinses may provide temporary relief. Stay away from hot, spicy or acidic foods. Patient should visit his dentist if they last more than two weeks.Good luck and hope that helps.Health Question & Answer

Rinse your mouth with Listerine, It doesn't really help with pain but it helps them heal faster. They sell stuff to numb them at the store in the isle with the toothpaste. but for me the numbing stuff never lasted very long.

A friend of my used to get canker sores all the time and a lot of them at once like you have, so i guess its too not uncommon.Health Question & Answer

They probably are canker sores. You can get a lot of them by eating too much citrus. So, if you eat a lot of oranges, drink a lot of orange juice, etc, You're more prone to get them.
So to prevent: -Less citrus
-Orajel Mouth Sore Medicine

Hope that helps! =)
