Question: Question about exercise..?
Is it better to work out a particular muscle group per day (Biceps on Mondays, Shoulders on Tuesdays, etc.) or work out several muscle groups in the same day.? I work out several different muscle groups in any given workout, and I was wondering if sticking with only one muscle group would have any advantages or disadvantages.Health Question & Answer


Answers:
Work on several Muscle groups a day. Advantage is really because you can do more exercises. Compound Exercises really are a lot better then the machines because it doesn't Isolate one muscle, but targets several. For example Squats work on your Hamstrings, quads and your calf's. Bench press Works on your Triceps, deltoids and chest. Cable Rows work on your biceps and back.Health Question & Answer

All kinds of different trainers will argue over this one. But it seems that most concrete evidence I've read suggests that exercises that target multiple muscle groups stimulate the most overall new muscle growth.

I would say working out individual muscles is best done when you are satisfied with your current size and just want to target certain areas that perhaps aren't proportional to the rest.Health Question & Answer

do not do the classic . Monday-chest tuesday-back wednesday-shoulders thurs-arms fri -legs ...youll be in the gym 5 days a week, youll be sore, and you'll get stronger but you wont look good.

you can split workouts in muscle groups such as -Mondays-Chest-shoulders-triceps(pushers... WED-legs abs Thurs- back-biceps(pullers)

or i suggest upper lower body split
monday-legs+calves Tuesday-all upper body thurs-legs+calves FRI-upperbody
