Am I ruining my workout?!
Question: Am I ruining my workout.?
Is this ruining my workout.? --> Basically, I workout 5-6 days a week, strength training and doing a lot of cardio -- i am not trying to lose weight, just get really toned. I am on a strict diet during the week, and on the weekends I eat whatever I want (pizza, ice cream, etc). I am not trying to lose weight, just maintain that weight that I am, but will eating these foods on the weekends while maintaining a strict high protein/low carb diet during the week completely ruin my chances of getting toned.?Health Question & Answer
Answers:
Typically, no. It is recommended that you take a one day break from your diet every week. However, don't stuff yourself with a whole pizza and ice cream. You can have a little, but not too much. Health Question & Answer
Not really but be careful not to overtrain as it may lead to your body losing muscle mass and having to start from the begining again
Although you are on a strict diet during the week it is good to eat what you liek on the weekends but to much calorie or fat intake may cause you to put on weight
If you like pizza try homemade stuff it tastes a lot better and its a hell of a lot healthier icecream i wouldnt go for the low fat stuff mainly because it doesnt taste as good but just make sure you dont eat to much and remeber that there is always a healthier option to all teh junk food you like
By cardio do you mean resistance training or do you oscilate the intensity.? the second is a healthier option both for the diet and your heart and body

You should probably stop that, have a maximum of one cheat day a week. Once every two weeks is better.Health Question & Answer
