What are some healthy snacks I can keep in my car or my purse?!
Question: What are some healthy snacks I can keep in my car or my purse.?
I think I am permanently hungry...LOL.
I work and go to school full time and never have time to sit down and eat.
If I do not eat throughout the day I totally overeat or get something totally unhealthy just because its quick.
I really just need to find some snacks that I can carry with me throughout the day to supress my hunger.

- A cup of cheerios (the plain kind) in a plastic bag/ container
- Rice crackers (the plain kind as well). These are extremely low in calories so 20 of them is only around 180 cal.
- Thinsations or one those 100 cal chocolate bars
- Fruit! Lots of it! If you have time in the morning, cut them into slices, if not then keep a small plastic container where you can keep the pit or core (so you don't have to hunt for a garbage). It's a huge time saver but just remember to throw the waste out at the end of the day :P
- Keep a small water bottle. Most of the time when people think they're hungry, they're just thirsty or bored
- GUM! Sugarfree is your best bet
I'm in the same situation as you. I always want to get food but I have to force myself to leave my cash at home or I'll be tempted to spend it.
When I'm at home it's the hardest. I find chewing gum is the best way to resist eating. Keep a water bottle next to you as well (not juice or pop, ultimately, that's just sugar)
