Question: Is losing 30lb. from now until Dec. 4th a realistic goal.? Suggestion on how to do this are appreciated.?
Hello.
I was just wondering if trying to lose between 25 - 30lbs. by December 4th is a Realistic plan, and also what would you suggest to make this happen.? I am wheelchair bound, so I can't do any jogging or something along those lines.
I found a website to use if your injured or disabled and want to lose weight, so I have some ideas, but I would like some more. Maybe based on personal experience. Thank you. ;0)Health Question & Answer

Not realistic at all. At least not in a healthy way. The most you can lose in a week realistically (and thats if you are hardcore about it) is 2 pounds. Google "daily calorie calculator for females" type in your height and weight. Put that you are sedentary. That will calculate how many calories you must eat a day to maintain your body weight. Drop those calories by 500 a day (yes you will have to count calories) than burn 500 calories a day in the gym. Since you cannot do cardio I don'y think 500 calories a day in the gym is realistic for you. So don't get discouraged you will lose weight by keeping track of your caloric intake. You will lose at least a pound a week. That is the only way to lose weight and keep it off. Good luck!Health Question & Answer
to lose a 1lb you must have 3500 cal deficit from your intake + energy expenditure or exercise.A healthy weight loss is around 4-5 kg. per month, however a drastic weight loss more than 5 kg a month is also possible but most of it will be water loss, try to visit a dietitian to consult your problem.Health Question & Answer
