Answers:
Yes it is, because you dont know the people who go there. Are they bter looking and really fit.? But dont think about. Just go. You are going to a gym to get in shape, right.? So are they, so just go and stop worrying about what other people think. And if you feel they stare at you, they dont. It's just a feeling.Health Question & Answer

I'm all like, yeah look at me, I been going here forever cuz i take one look around and know where everything is and make a plan right away to hit the warm up aerobics, then the upper body press, then the abs for 2 hours... lol. I can't help but look pro. Maybe some hottie redhead will be there. Gym's tend to draw attention. I never did like going with friends or my bro because I become the instructor instead of focusing on my own workout. Health Question & Answer

HECK YEAH man, i started my new gym 2 weeks ago... i walk in at like 8 pm and all that's in there are beef cakes and skinny girls, i was the ONLY fatty for like a week and a half!! then last night i saw tons of fatties, maybe i encouraged them to come exercise with me ;)

oh well i don't care what those fools think though, at least i'm doing something about my fat! Health Question & Answer

Yes it is, especially when they hover over you and huff and puff, then get in your personal space in front of the mirror and pump up their egos.

HANS: "Lars! Do my frontal pecks seem a bit saggy.?"

LARS: "No, Hans. You haven't done your ego-reps yet. DO IT NOW!"

Flex a little here.. Flex a little there..
Here a flex, there a flex, everywhere a flex flex..Health Question & Answer

OMG YES!!! I was so nervous when I first started a new gym that I was literally shaking when I just got there and was in tears afterwards, yes it is intimidating. Fortunately the feeling goes away and you start to feel more at home :)Health Question & Answer

I think so.

I always make a point to count just showing up as a good enough workout for the first few times....Health Question & Answer
