Question: If you don't eat for 3 days what should u drink.? only water.?
ok ok i know its super bad to starve yourself but at this point i really couldn't care. my parents are making a big deal of my weight and i've had enough. -.- and no there not teasing. so i've decided that i'll stop eating for three days with only a bottled water a day and if i loose enough weight i'll keep that up. although i don't know if i should drink something else too that way i don't get too bad. i know this isn't going to be fun but i'm out of choices
p.s. i am very active i do soccer practice every day even on weekends for 2 hours. and that's like non stop running. up until now i have eaten healthy three meals a day. Health Question & Answer

Ok, don't listen to these people. The body doesn't actually "starve" until after 40 days of not eating anything.
Until then, it is living off of fat reserves, toxins, harmful protein reserves, parasites, microorganisms and scarred tissue. That have all been the causing past health issues.
Consuming nothing but water for various days is called "water fasting", and people have been doing it for thousands of years to heal themselves of various diseases and conditions. When you stop eating food you allow your body to put its energy into healing and repairing itself, instead of the never ending task of constantly digesting food.
Did you know wild animals subside from food when they are injured.? Have you every questioned why you lose your appetite when you are sick.? The answer is because the body is trying to put its energy into healing.
While fasting, It is important you give your body plenty of rest and don't take part in strenuous exercise.

My longest fast was for 16 days. I did not look sickley, I was fully alert and aware, everyone I came across never even guessed I hadn't eaten in that long, and were suprised when I mentioned anything. I was fully energize and was not the least bit hungry! Ofcourse I lost weight, but I still had extra fat to burn if I wanted to fast longer. This is because your body's natural intelligence is to to conserve things for the length of the fast.
The reason people feel "sick" when they start fasting, is because of the load of toxins being stirred up and released in the body. The first week of the fast is the hardest, because of all the toxins in the bloodstream. So don't be mislead. Once you get past that stage it is a breeze from there and you will have more energy than when you were eating.

This won't work. Your body will start storing any food you eventually do put into it as fat. This is your body going into survival mode because you will be malnutritioned and you will gain weight. Worse yet if you starve yourself for a long time you will bloat out in the stomach and get a pot belly. The best way to loose weight is to eat a lean protein and vegetable rich diet supplemented with fruits and whole grains. Drink water and stay away from high sugar juices or beverages but don't purposefully drink x amount of glasses or bottles of water. Drink when your body tells you to drink water. Foods you eat contain plenty of water and it is a myth you need to drink 8 glasses a day. For example foods like tomatoes are made up of mostly water. With daily aerobic exercise, some basic strength training and making sure you keep your calories slightly under your current intake and lowering them as you loose the weight you should drop some pounds. If you wanna lose some weight, not eating is worse than eating because this will cause you to eat more when you get off the not-eating phase. Eat less, do more. It won't come off quickly, but it will eventually come off. You should take a few walks every day. Like, when you come home from school, do your homework and then take a walk. You can use this to calm yourself down, too. You can do some stretches, which will make you feel good. Start eating more fruits and vegetables, and don't eat anything with lots of sugar (no desserts for a while unless they're healthy).

I've gone through a few phases of not eating for a few days, and I can tell you that losing weight will not be happening much. You should drink lots of water and learn to make smoothies. Make sure the fruits and vegetables are organic. The other stuff is not healthy anyway. You can mix coconut milk, fig juice, parsley and carrot juice, as this will help you lose some weight. But check online for weight loss smoothies, there may be more that sound more appealing.
