I am a vegetarian, am i eating well?!
Question: I am a vegetarian, am i eating well.?
I am also trying to shed 20-30 pounds by February...Here is an example of how i have been eating please tell me if i can achieve my goal by eating this way and excersizing everyday:
Breakfast: Oatmeal & strawberries, Green Tea
Lunch: Miso Soup with a handful of organic soy crackers with hummus
Snack: Strawberries & a banana
Dinner: Wild grain rice with steamed mushrooms & carrots, green beans &soybeans beans
Snack: non fat bluberry yogurt
eating like this everyday isn't really that hard for me so do you think if i excersize and eat like that i could lose the weight by Feb.Health Question & Answer

Yes, you seem to be on the right track. Stick to it and you'll probably have your results earlier then Feb. Just be sure to mix your cardio with strength training. You won't bulk up, trust me, but building lean muscle helps rid your body of unwanted fat.Health Question & Answer

4 or 5 servings of fruit and vegetables
2 or 3 servings of pulses, nuts & seeds
2 servings of milk, cheese, eggs or soy products
A small amount of vegetable oil and margarine or butter.

Sounds like you're doing really well, although I suggest getting some more protein and dark leafy greens into your diet as well... both are incredibly healthy for you, and both will help you build lean muscle mass.Health Question & Answer
