My mum is on Atkins diet and you are not spose to have more that 20 carbs a day, you can eat as much fish and eggs, you can cook meat in fat, you CANT EAT ICE CREAM, you can eat sugar free jelly, im not sure if it gives you energy and you can have a LITTLE amount of vodka depending on how many carbs you have had that day.Health Question & Answer

I'm afraid this diet has an overall poor success rate and lets not forget Dr Atkins died of a heart attack and as I hear was rather overweight himself!
