BCAA's are great to pay attention to, and according to a chart on bodybuilding.com, you are doing just fine. If you want to see that chart, go here: http://www.bodybuilding.com/fun/inmag12....

However, I think too much emphasis has been placed on them. While bodybuilding is certainly a science, I think that too many people focus on all the fancy things that are available, the little tricks and powders, instead of proper form and proper diet. I'm never going to tell you to cut out whey protein (unless you have an allergy or other diet restriction, then try egg, buckwheat, soy, or hemp seed, all of which are complete proteins), but I've seen too many people grab their morning supplement, pre-workout, during workout, post-workout, and evening supplements while "killing it" in the gym with bad form, killing their liver with alcohol, reducing their gains with nicotine (inhibits muscle synthesis), and thwarting their gains with a sh*tty diet.

Make sure all of these are straight first, then start to worry about BCAA supplementation. Supplements are to "supplement" your current good exercise and diet regimen, not to replace them. Always remember that. Health Question & Answer
