I'm 13. I want to start exercising a little more & eat healthier..? .. What are some good starters? (Long-ish)?!

Question: I'm 13. I want to start exercising a little more & eat healthier...? .. What are some good starters.? (Long-ish).?
Okay, so I'm 13, as you can see by the title..
If it helps, I'm also 5'5 / 5'6.
I would say I'm about 10 pounds over-weight.? My best friend is only 105 pounds! She has basically NO fat on her body, but she eats like crazy & doesn't exercise. We probably have different metabolisms.. I'm 130-5 (My scale is NOT accurate.) I want to drop to around 120,
I've been getting lazier & lazier the past year, and whaddya know, I gained almost 15 pounds from September '07 to this day!
I wouldn't consider myself "fat", but I wouldn't consider myself "fit" either. In my headshots, I do not look the least chubby, since I have a "good facial.? structure" as people would say. So I'm getting a little off topic here..
I've been eating less, I don't even snack on things anymore. I'm starting to eat healthier lunches at schools, like a salad and half a sandwhich. I'm not on the computer as often, I go on for 30 minutes, take a break for 10-20. My mom told me if I don't go out and move around, I should at least hool-a-hoop for 10 minutes, which I only did once. That's about it.
I started looking online for small workouts, I've been doing crunches (spelling) every night, about 20.
I don't really want to join my local gym, one of my other best friends has, but she is getting absolutely NO results, and she has been there for three months, (I think..).
I would probably say I could run a little. I was on the track team in the fourth grade, but then I stopped in the fifth. Now I play no sports, besides swimming, but I don't swim anymore because I'm too self-cautious about my body.
I do not really know what I'm asking..
I guess I just want some help on starting on a daily "work-out" routine.
I was thinking of running, and maybe crunches (spelling.?), but I don't know how far/how many minutes I should start with running.
In gym class, I can run for about 3 minutes straight without getting tired, (Pathetic, I know. We only have gym twice a week, and it's usually dodgeball.)
I don't want anyone to plan me a daily routine for __ months, just a starting point for like almost a week, I would continue from there.
What I should do to start out, how many minutes, how many times, etc.
I guess it's kinda a lot, but I have no other resources, one of my best friends is super lazy, eats like crazy & gains no weight, one goes to the gym & gets no results, and one goes to weight watchers and has only lost about 10 pounds. And I would be too embarrassed to go to Weight Watchers..Plus the price is ridiculous for only a few week program! And all of my other friends are just "normal", and knowing them they would have no advice.
I hope I'm not too much of a bother, I'm just kinda desperate because of the fact I can't put on nice clothes & feel "confident" about myself.
If any of the answers are really helpful, I will give out 10 points. <3
And I will add details if anyone has any questions.?
Thank you! Health Question & Answer

Eat 3meals a day breakfast is most important, your body acts like a sponge...if you add water slowly(3meals) it will expand slowly and give your body time to burn up calories..if you eat mabey one big meal a day it is like pooring a gallon of water on the sponge. Second run and do situps..even if you dont want to make yourself do it. Eat foods with less saturated fats (you can find on almost all food labels) Eat lots of iron and protein and carboydrates but exercise a lot to get rid of the bad parts of those foods......DO NOT DRINK CAFFEINE. cafene kills all that is good it is like the anti-christ of good bodies. Drink water and lemon juice, one of worlds natural phonomenon..dont know y but it works (no sugar) run some more. do pushups make your body sore intill you cant do it. These jokes about no excersise weight loss dont work i promise.Health Question & Answer

Okay so a good plan would be
A.M.
[before school] wake up about 20 - 30 mins earlier and walk/jog around the block about 2 times.

P.M.
[after school] run around the block a few times

do about 10 crunches then increase the amount by about 2 every day [so you would start day 1 at 10 then day 2 you would do 12]

5 pushups and 8 situps [feel free to increase this if it gets to easy]

Good Luck!Health Question & Answer
