Craving Food! Junk Food - - - -?!


Question: Craving Food! Junk Food - - - -.?
Hiya. I am a little worried, because i seem to be craving junk food everyday...it's really getting to me because i want to lose weight...

It isn't just junk food i am craving, i crave food generally! If i eat a full plate of rice and curry, i would still crave for more food and more without getting full...or if i do get full i eat more on top!

Argh! Can you please help me. I really want to lose a couple of stones, but how can i stay motivated to eat less, and avoid junk food.?

Any opinions/tips are welcome.

What I do is a plan out a menu each day in with a food journal. If I eat anything, I have to write it down. I use FitDay, a free online program that tell me how many calories I am eating each day, so if I eat too much I know I have to look at that calorie total. Sometimes I decide the guilt of the high number is not worth it.Health Question & Answer

Fruit is low in calories and helps to fill you up. You must replace a lot of your high calorie foods with fruit if you want to lose weight.

Perhaps you could buy fruit in bulk such as a large bag of oranges or a crate of apples.Health Question & Answer

sugar, fat and salt are all addictive my friend

here is what i do to stop myself

1) i buy really fancy and nice flavored tea like chocolate, cinnamon, raspberry etc and use that as my treat - my fave's are by tea forte they have a line of desert tea and i also like mighty leaf tea

2) i try not to let myself get too hungry because whenever i do is when i crave the really junky stuff

3) i buy exotic fruits like pineapple, raspberries and grapes to satisfy my sweet tooth

4) freezing grapes is like making little healthy popsicles - so good

5) i have heard mint gum helps curb cravings

6) i go shopping at an organic grocery store and buy chocolate soy or rice milk and other organic goodies like organic dark chocolate (which is an antioxidant) and organic cashews or make organic trail mix with dark chocolate chips nuts and dried fruit

7) find cool new smoothies to make with my favorite fruits

8) start a new diet plan i can be excited about!!!
