Muscle building/exercise question...?!

Question: Muscle building/exercise question....?
I have pretty strong upper arms, and from the outside of them they look like it, but on the inside not so much. Is this because that part of my arm is weak or is it just not toned.? either way, can somebody answer that and also give me some good exercises to do to make them look better.?Health Question & Answer

Answers:
well it sounds like the inside of your arm is not developed as the outside part of your arm. your bicep is made of two muscles. so the bicep muscle on the lateral side is probably stronger because of the way you pick up weights. try open arm curls where you palms are facing more to the side and elbows are in. if you are looking for tone, lighten up the weights and do more repsHealth Question & Answer

Are you saying that your inside muscle of your arms not as toned as your outside muscle.? Then probably you are training more triceps than biceps.?

Anyway first focus on your inner part of the biceps, do barbell curl with challenging weight, with wider grip than the usual shoulder grip. You can experiment how wide you can go that is both still comfortable and allow you to perform the curl with full range of motion.

Secondly you might need to target your inner triceps by experimenting on many triceps exercises out there... experiment with each of them and use whichever u feel is best for your triceps.

Thirdly, if you have high body fat, you might need to lower them by doing cardio and lowering your calorie intake by few hundred grams of carbsHealth Question & Answer

The inside is always weaker.
