How long should it take me to lose weight?!

Question: How long should it take me to lose weight.?
I am 5'4 and 3/4 teehee, and I weight? a whopping 191 lbs. (I did give birth 6 times) but besides that I admit to being a candy junkie. How much should I lose to be a healthy weight and how long should it take to lose the weight safely.? Any tips would be great. Thanks.Health Question & Answer

Good for you for making this decision to make yourself healthier!

Let me tell you how I lost 40 lb. over 4 months...I had a breast cancer scare. I learned that excess estrogen ( that is dangerous) is stored in fat.

I started out with a colon cleansing, I worked out 4-6 days a week at Curves, I cut my portions in half, and then two weeks later in half again.

I didnt have any real results from the colon cleansing but...I figured it couldn't hurt anyhow.

Be patient with yourself, pace yourself with this endeavor. I am happy for you!
PS I too had 6 babies...my oldest is nearly 22. also go to your OB gyn and have your hormone levels tested. Make sure that your thyroid is working correctly. It is not unusual for women like us to need support for our thyroid.

I would suggest a cleansing diet. I lost 12 pounds in 9 days and then 28 pounds in less than a month. I also lost a lot of inches too! I learned that cleansing will help the body get rid of toxins. Toxins come from a lot of things like fast food, pollution, food additives and preservatives and lots of other things. The toxins get stored in the fat in our body. To get rid of the fat, we have to get rid of the toxins by cleansing the body. This made sense to me and I decided to try a cleanse program and it worked. The weight came off fast and this kept me motivated to keep going, not like other diets where the weight loss it too slow. I did Jenny Craig, Weight Watcher and Medifast. Good luck whatever you decide to do! http://thebestcleansingdiet.com

Health Question & Answer

Probably the best thing to do is to go to your doctor to get advice on how to lose weight healthily and sensibly.Health Question & Answer

I would say you need to be in the 130 lbs range to be "healthy". Try shooting for 10 lbs / month. Slow weight loss is usually healthier.Health Question & Answer
