I was thinking of joining the gym :D
Being 16 gets me half off the price, meaning that I pay

first off, a 16 year old going to the gym will leave you in far better shape than your peers if you go as little as 3 times a week, so don't worry there! ;) but for cardio, I would recommend a minimum of 3 days a week for 30 to 45 minutes. If you really want to push yourself, try for 45 minutes to an hour for 6 days a week. An hour every night and 2 hours on saturday may push your body a bit much (just my opinion...if you're quite athletic, and at 16 you probably have a lot of energy, you may be just fine. I'm speaking as a 26 year old who's losing that youthful energy!)

Point is, gyms are definitely worth the money if you show up just a few times a week so best of luck.Health Question & Answer
