I have lost 90 pounds, but I seem to be losing my motivation...what do other ppl use to keep them motivated?!

First of all, I want to congratulate you on the 90 pounds that you have lost. That is incredible. I know that took a tremendous amount of work and determination to get to where you are at now. I have only lost a paltry 17 pounds compared to you, but the way I keep my motivation up is to challenge myself with new workouts, new foods, and rewards for every few pounds I lose. (Not rewards like sweets or fatty foods). also having diet buddies to talk to that are also losing weight can do a lot to keep you motivated. Photos of how you want to look posted on your fridge, around your desk, and even in your car can also do a lot to keep you motivated. Visualization exercises where you visualize yourself skinny or how you want to look and the clothes you will be wearing after you lose the weight help a lot. My motivation is knowing I am losing weight for me, and feeling better about myself, personally and physically. Being able to do things i couldn't do or wouldn't do before.

I am my own motivation, I chose to make everything about me now!

I've lost almost 70 lbs now, and i hear what your saying, i feel like it'll just keep shedding off without me trying, but it wont :[.
but the way i keep my motivation, is that i have a picture of how i looked at 226 lbs, while I'm looking in the mirror at 157 and i just totally get re-motivated!! i have a goal, to get to 125, and i only have to loose less than half of what i already lost, so i get re-motivated by that also

Congratulations on losing that much weight. So many people are wishing they could do what you've already done. Just look at yourself in the mirror and say, I've come this far, I will continue until I reach my goal. I will never go back to what I was before. Buy yourself a pair of pants in the size you plan on becoming and get them out once a week. Hold them up and say to yourself I won't quit till I can get into these pants. Stick to your goal and nothing will make you more proud of yourself than knowing you achieved what you set out to do.Health Question & Answer

Just imagine going back up 90 pounds after all the work you did to lose it, it could happen if you don't exercise and go back to your lifestyle before exercising! Ahh noo, you don't want the fat back go exercise and eat well before the fat foods grow legs and come get you, you gotta run away from them! And then they will cling onto you again and be there forever >:O you don't want that do you! GO RUN DO THE WORK NOW THEY ARE AFTER YA!

Lol, I got carried away there but whatever, hope that helps lol and hopefully a hamburger with legs doesn't actually come up and get you =]
