Answers:
I work in the health care field and have heard yes and no to this one. They said that Sweet and Low was bad due to the Saccharin in it, but it is still on the market. They came to this conclusion because they said that it cause cancer in lab rats. Well last I looked, we aren't rats and we don't consume the equivalent of 200 packets a day for 6 months straight! I believe that if you use around 5-6 packs a day or even a little more you should be fine.Health Question & Answer

Splenda (also known as Sucralose) is generally regarded as safe in "normal" doses.

Personally, I avoid all artificial sweetners, but there's no proven danger with Splenda.

And as a reply to the previous answer....there is no Aspartame in Splenda. You're thinking of Nutrasweet.Health Question & Answer

It has not been proven to be bad...yet. There is no reason to use it, though, since regular sugar only has 10 calories per teaspoon. No one has gotten skinny by using sugar substitutes. I like Splenda on occasion, though, because it dissolves easily in iced tea.Health Question & Answer

Yes, it is bad for you. Aspartame, when broken down by your body creates toxins and poisons.

Real sugar in moderation is better for you than any fake sweetener or corn syrup any day.

Moderation is key. Health Question & Answer
