Question: Is this equal: walk 3 miles each Mon. and Tues., or 6 miles Tues..?
does the body react the same .?Health Question & Answer

Answers:
Good question! No, because when you exercise, you rev up your metabolism. When that happens, your metabolism works more efficiently for several hours after you quit working out. Therefore, it's burning more calories that day. With your second plan, you're only getting that advantage one day a week. With your first plan, you get that advantage both Monday and Tuesday.

Let's say that weight loss is not your goal and you don't care about burning more calories. Then it's still not equal because your heart gets the advantage of the exercise only one day instead of two! But...having said all that, all you can do is the best you can do, right.? Get your workout in when you can!Health Question & Answer

Break it up. Technically, it is the same, but you are more likely to stick to 3 miles than 6. If you miss a day, you'll still have the other day. also, you can go faster and work harder if you're only doing 3 miles at a time, and that burns more calories. Health Question & Answer

no it is not the same. your body starts to burn fat after 40 or 45 minutes into a workout. if you do a 30 workout you will burn more ATP then fat. after the 45 mins you r body will start to break down fat for energyHealth Question & Answer
