I ATE SOOOOO MUCH .... blah?!


Question: I ATE SOOOOO MUCH .... blah.?
I just ate, like, 2 cups of peanut m&ms ... I NEVER eat junk food and I just gave into my craving... I'm not trying to lose weight, but this won't make me gain weight, will it.? I've only dune this today, and I ran 4-5 miles today ... will I be okay.? Will my weight stay the same.? Oh, I hate myself for eating that ... I hate myself... I have struggled with Anorexia Nervosa since I was 12, if that helps ... I'm "healthy" now, and "stable" but I feel soooooo anxious and guilty....

do you have days where you are just lazing and give in.? Will I be okay just this one day.? Please help me, I am so stressed.

Well b one time that is nothing. You are taking it to seriously do not hold it to yourself that way. WE all need to let go and we all do. Even if we are on a diet. So do not feel bad. And that is not even that much if you ran 4-5 miles today you are fine hon. So, no that is not bad. And dont hate yourself. You should be really proud. You have come over your problem and now are healthy. But still dont let it get to you. You owe yourself that little treat. You exercise this much and eat well. You are fine and I would recommend that you have some nice treat sometime. Even ice cream or whatever you like. I dont eat many fatty foods either no cravings for them. But if there is something that I want I take it because I am the same as you. I know that I dont eat the by the tons and I also know that I will work it off. And same for you. So, no that is not bad you are fine. No worries... Your doing great.

trust me. you won't gain weight from one day of junk food. and so what if the number goes up one notch on the scale.? your body will not look any different...it's a constant habit and weeks and weeks of eating bad that makes somebody gain weight and get bigger.

you seem healthy (other than this whole guilt thing) and you exercise very well. don't worry about it! everyone needs to indulge once and a while.

oh ps: did you know that the body is actually carrying around 8-10 pounds of poop.? so small weight fluctuations can be blamed on that.Health Question & Answer
