Question: Recovering from anorexia... should I throw it away or keep it as a reminder of who I was.?
I have a little diet/thinspiration notebook where I would write down everything I ate and everything I felt about how "fat" I was. I also pasted tons of pictures of skinny models and stuff in there. Ever since I decided to recover, I have held onto this book. I just don't really want to throw it away. Not only does it remind me of who I was, but it took a long time to get just right lol. At the same time though, I'm scared that keeping it around could make me go back. What do you think.?Health Question & Answer

Only keep it if you are truly keeping it to remind you of how horrible it was being anorexic and how happy you are to be recovering! (grats on that by the way)

But hmm... Do you look inside of this little notebook often.? What do you think about when you read what you wrote about.? Does looking inside make you feel like you wanna go back.? If anything related to that little book makes you wanna turn back, then toss it.Health Question & Answer

No.. throw it away because it might cause you to relapse and go back to thinking the same way as before!
