Question: Explain to me, how is it that my buddy had no problems committing himself to losing 50lbs and I'm still.?
stuck at my original weight. Perhaps its somewhat jealousy on my part, but don't get me wrong, I'm happy for him. He's lost 50lbs and has gone down 3 pant sizes and I'm still sitting in "idle". I just can't seem to break my old habits (late night snacking and my beer on the weekends, even though I switched to Light beer).

I have to be honest with you, my friend has been used to a regular exercise routine for the past few years, while I haven't worked out on a regular basis for more than two weeks, without falling off the wagon. Even though my friend has been exercising, he still wasn't losing any weight and I hear its because of his eating habits.

I'm not obese. I'm 6 foot and 220lbs, but according to BMI, I'm over-weight and I'd like to lose at least 30lbs. Where do I start, since I'm not in a good habit of eating right and I don't have an exercise program, so its not like I can start off too fast. Health Question & Answer

I don't believe in dieting. Maybe for obese people to start out with, but eating right and a routine is the key. I eat pretty much what i want, but i workout everyday. It's something that doesn't come easy and you really have to stick with it. Most people don't. I'm lucky in the way that i love to work out. You have to find it within yourself to do this.
