Question: Please tell me how to not get hungry and to avoid over eating when i do get hungry.?

Good question.

The problem is that you've stretched your stomach to the point where you cannot get that "full" feeling until you eat a lot of food. The solution is to shrink your stomach. Yes, this can happen, and without surgery or a clamp inside of you.

Some people skip breakfast, and end up eating 2 large meals every day. You end up becoming like a camel, storing up food for the rest of the day, stretching out your stomach to fit all that food in.

I eat 5 or 6 meals a day, but when the sun goes down, I've eaten the same amount of food as anyone who eats 2 large meals. It is hard to get started, because at first the smaller meals won't give the "full" feeling, but after a while, your stomach shrinks, and you end up feeling satisfied more often. also, it speeds up your metabolism and makes your body store less energy as fat.

That's the physical side of things anyway. Mentally, there is no quick fix. You must have the willpower and determination to want to lose weight. No one can give that to you but yourself. So if that's the real issue, stop asking for help, you're wasting your time. Instead try and find some way to reward yourself. Take up a sport you really love, or go out and LARP instead of playing table top games, whatever you can find that you're passionate about that will keep you active. When you eat meals (bfast/lunch/dinner or snacks) make sure you eat fiber and protein. Fiber and protein help fill you up on less food and keep you fuller longer. Try snacking on whole wheat pretzels or whole wheat Goldfish. With breakfast try scrambled eggs with whole wheat or whole grain toast. For dinner, or lunch, eat brown rice instead of white rice.

If you need to eat processed food look for things that have a lot of fiber in them. Look for Soluble & Insoluble fiber - these will determine how full you will feel.

However!!!!! Drink a lot of water. Switching suddenly to a high fiber diet may cause some gastrointestinal problems (constipation for one) so make sure that you slowly introduce high fiber products into your diet over the course of three or four weeks. Let your body adjust and drink lots of water. You may be able to do it faster but listen to your body and snack smart.
