Question: Whats your opinion.?............?
This is my meal plan today so what do you think.?

Breakfast: weight control oatmael-160 cals (no milk added)

Lunch: 3 Bean Soup-About 250-300 cals

Snack: Banana-80 cals

Dinner: Whole grain pasta in a light sauce with roasted tomatos-About 280 cals

So is this healthy.? Any suggestions/yips are appreciated...oh and yea I am trying to lose 25 lbs....?Health Question & Answer

those are healthy choices but you're eating waaay to little. In the beginning I'll say for a week or two its okay but after that your body will go through muscle depleting, fat storage, your craving for food is going to soar, you're going to go through some emotional frustration because you're depriving your body the correct amount of nutrition it needs. Never eat less than 1200 calories, if you can't eat too much at once, have two more snacks 100 calories or less. Your body uses 1200 calories at a sedentary state. Just by being alive. So you have to at least fuel it back 1200 calories or else you'll store fat and when you do lose that weight, it wont look as lean or toned, instead your outcome is going to be wobbly and jiggly cause you'll have tons of fat while muscle and important organs and tissues are being lost fooling you to think you're making progress and losing weight. You need to know how many calories you need to take in before you ask ,is this ok for this number of calories. The other piece of information left out is, are you exercising.? You need to understand that muscle weighs more than fat, you may very well be substituting muscle for fat. Muscle is 5x denser than fat, meaning a 1lb cube of muscle is equal to 5 cubes of fat the same size as the one of muscle. You need to take in more protein to maintain muscle. Muscle burn glycogen and fat as energy to feed muscles, of you don't get a balance diet its will throw you all off and you will spin your wheels. Weight is an incorrect way to judge weather you are fit. Use fitness standards to make a judgment if you are or you are not fit. strive to achieve a particular fitness level eat properly and it will all fall into place rather easily. This isn't enough calories.. You don't say how much you weigh or how active you are, but you'll need at least 1200 to keep your body out of starvation mode. Not nearly enough protein to keep from losing muscle either.
