Answers:
Try ice for 15 min. then hot for 15 min., repeat for 30-45 min., do that 2-3 times a day for a week, if still not able to lift, with lunges, I would try gradual stretches by just hanging in place like an upside down U, for about a minute at a time. It may help to switch places with the free weights on your lunges. If you normally keep the weight at your side with dumbells, then I would try the weight on your shoulders with a barbell and vice versa, if you already haven't tried both positions, one may be more comfortable than the other, and it could offer your body a better chance to adapt and get stronger, or atleast let you do the excersize more comfortably. If all else fails, you may have to give it a rest for a few weeks and see the doc. Health Question & Answer
