My name is Brandon Vance.
I currently weigh 210 Pounds.
And I am 13 Years old.
And my heigth is 5.2

I am trying to lose weight

My callorie intake is 1000 A day.
And i will be walking on the treadmill for 1 hour a day.
Or running it for 30 minutes a day.

I am trying to get down to 120 pounds.

How long will it take for me to lose 100 pounds.

Please somone help me.

Just diet and excersize.

No fancy programs.

Please answer Realisticly

1000 calories a day is too low (unless under strict doctor's care) for a young teen. You could get tired more easily, your metabolism could actually slow down to conserve energy, and you are more likely to quit your diet and exercise program due to lack of results.

According to http://health.discovery.com/tools/calcul... your Basal Metabolic Rate (how many calories you have to eat a day to stay the same weight, if you are at rest) is around 2070. If you eat 500 calories less than this a day, and exercise another 500 calories off, you will lose at least 2 lbs a week. This will taper off slightly as you lose weight, but it's a basic estimate.

Make sure the food you're eating is good for you, lots of vegetables/fruit and whole grains if possible. Water will keep you hydrated and help you lose weight properly, too.

Doctors recommend not losing more than 10 lbs a month. It's healthier for your body and skin, and you are more likely to keep the weight off. So at that rate, it should take you 10-12 months to lose 100 lbs. I know it sounds like a long time, but you will notice a difference quickly, and is worth it in the long run. also, you are likely to get taller during that time, which should help you out as well. you need to start by bumping your calorie intake up to 1200 a day.
drink tons of water.
stay away from sugar,candy,sweets of any kind, red meat, and carbs such as pasta.
eat plenty of vegetables and fruits.
by doing this i lost 6 pounds in one week
