Question: Whats an easy way to lose a couple pounds.?
Ok im young , and im not going to give out my age but yes i am allowed on Yahoo Answers, so you can guess anywhere from 13-25
But on subject I was wondering how I can lose a couple pounds kinda of fast, but I don't want to really hurt myself or anything in the process. I try to excersise daily, But Vb season ended so im not after school and there is no girls Softball team. lol so dont ask, But What can I do to mantain a healthy weight.?.? my weight is 122lb and well im 13 =/ so yah but If you guys are goning to say why do you want to lose lbs..? go ahead. You don't even have to give me someething to lose weight. I just want to stay fit and healthyHealth Question & Answer

Hi, this is the easiest way to lose a few pounds and maintain your weight. It's just a matter of making some simple changes that over time will add up on the scale:
1) Weigh yourself once a week, at approx. the same time, wearing approx. the same thing.
2) Try to make the healthiest choices possible when choosing food. For example, choose brown rice over white rice. Choose whole-grained bread over white bread, etc.
3) Eat half of your normal portion at each meal.
4) Never skip breakfast as it wakes up your metabolism and gets it working for the day.
5) Only allow yourself one sweet on Saturday and one on Sunday (unless it's a special occasion like a birthday). Chew sugarless gum when you want because sometimes you just need a flavor in your mouth.
6) Drink mostly water and plenty of it. Save sweet drinks for special occasions. Limit soda-even diet. Skim milk is excellent!
7) Try to hit all the major food groups when choosing your food: lean protein, veggies, fruits, whole-grains, low-fat dairy.
8) Be more active. Ride your bike, take a walk, put on some good tunes and dance, jump rope, etc. Try to do something that leaves you huffing and puffing for 30 minutes each day.

I would say that you shouldn't lose any weight but it doesn't seem like you want to do it for a vanity reason. The easiest way is too not cut calories but make sure the calories you do bring in to your body speeds up your metabolism. So a mix of simple (fruits), complex carbs (wheat bread) and protein (meats) with each meal should take care of that. also spread it out through 4-6 meals rather than 3 big ones.

In return this diet change will give you more energy and i suggest you use it. Im not saying go buy billy blank tapes. Just stay active. Go outside and do what ever you young'n do now o days. Go walk around the mall or swim at the beach or walk to school. Just as long as your active your weight should take a dip in the direction you want.
