Is peanut butter good for you?!


Question: Is peanut butter good for you.?
I mean, I know it has a lot of fats, but's it's the good fats - polyunsaturated and monounsaturated. It also has a lot of dietary fiber.

Do you think 1-2 tbsp. a day is fine.?

I am a vegetarian so I am not getting many fats unless I have eggs/nuts.

I just wanted to clarify because once a day I'll like get the spoon and have some peanut butter (smart balance w/ omega) and my sister will just give me this look like "are you serious.?" Health Question & Answer

Yes, it's good for you. Try to get the natural peanut butter (read the ingredients, it should have just peanuts, no hydrogenated oil). It's a bit more "runny" and you have to store it in the fridge, but it's better for you.
