The best way to lose weight is through diet and exercise.

Diet:
Start by cutting out foods that are high in carbohydrates and low in vitamins and minerals. The most common offenders are chips, sweetened beverages, and baked goods.

a well-rounded diet should be full of whole grains, fruits, vegetables, lean protein, and low in saturated fats and processed sugars and grains.

Avoid foods that have a high glycemic index because these foods will not be as satisfying and lead to hunger soon after consumption.

Exercise:
A workout schedule should be fun, enjoyable, and easy to follow. Include both aerobic activity like walking and light resistance training such as weight lifting.

Goals:
Setting, tracking, and updating goals is essential to reaching a desired state. Your goal should be individualized for you and have and be specific. Write your goal down and share it with someone close to you who can help you track your progress. Your goal should be measurable so that you can assess where you are starting now, how far you've progressed, and how far you have to go.

General tip:
Weight loss is not a fast Biggest Loser transformation. Real weight loss occurs slowly over many months. If you have a lot of extra weight you will most likely lose weight very quickly before the losses slowly become smaller and less dramatic. Do not give up! Track your goal and track your progress and good health will be your reward.Health Question & Answer

okay now let me remind you that you cannot spot reduce fat. if you lose fat your going to lose it all over your body at once.

now to lose fat, i suggest you decrease your daily caloric intake by 500 calories. then eat 6 small meals throughout the day to sustain your hunger.

then do cardio 6 times a week for 20 minutes and as you build stamina and raise your cardio workout to 45 mins a day. a good cardio workout would be the elliptical machine since it is easy on your joints and your less likely to injure yourself rather than running on a treadmill.

also weight train 3 to 4 times a week because by breaking down your muscles you will burn even more calories for the amount of time it takes to rebuild

remember to eat foods rich in protein and fiber such as lean meats, eggs, fruits and vegetables. also drink plenty of water, atleast 8 glasses of water.

you will lose a good 30 lbs in two months if not more if you keep this up.

it worked for me Health Question & Answer
