You do not need equipment, just a good attitude & a willingness to workout,
chairs ~ a wall ~ push-ups ~ lifting anything ( even a gallon of water / milk weighs about 6 lbs. couple of cans of soup in a plastic bag or a bunch of then can be great.
How about anaerobic / holding a push up for as long as you can, doing as many sit-ups as you can five times a day or more, putting a couch & a end table together and doing deep push ups until you can't any more / four ti five times a day, running up & don the stairs or doing pushoffs from them.
Just a thought. You do not need lots & expensive equipment to just get you started, just cut your intake a little bit & work out harder, it will come off. :~ )

Running/walking in place, jumping jacks are good cardio exercises that do not require space. Discipline and your desire to stay healthy will really be the determining factors.

Do an online search for some aerobic workouts and only choose the ones that you can do in a room. also, I know most people probably think cardio is the most important for losing weight, but I was most successful when I mixed in some resistance-type exercises. Without weights, you'll need to use your body as a weight - push-ups, sit-ups, lunges, squats, etc.

Good luck - stick with whatever you find the most interesting!Health Question & Answer

If you want to work out without any equipment in particular, there are a few things you can do. Push ups and planches will work your core and arms, and for your legs, you can do lunges in place. Squat thrusts are also good. You can also use books as light weights, or bags filled with books as sort of ghetto dumbbells.

Wikipedia has explanations of each of these kinds of exercises.Health Question & Answer

This old school stuff kicks A!

you DO NOT need gym equipment to exercise and see results.Health Question & Answer

When you are losing weight, you should exercise and diet together.
If you exercise without dieting, you will get bigger appetite, which
will lead to increase of weight, or muscle grow
underneath the fat layer, and make you bulkier. If you diet without
exercising, you will become flabby and will have excess skin. For
diet, go wheat free. No pasta, pizza, bread and so on. And no food
after 7 p.m. People achieve marvellous results with it. Depending on
your initial weight, you can drop upwards from 20 pounds a month. If
you don't eat wheat then you don't eat all those sticky, fatty goey
cakes, you don't eat junk food, and you don't eat biscuits. But your
diet is still balanced. It costs nothing, and you do not have to
calculate points or to buy special meals or plans. For exercising,
start with walking, and then switch to running/jogging. Running is the
most efficient and calorie-burn exercise ever. If you are overweight a
lot, walk first or you may have health complications (heart attack,
disjointed bones and so on). Weight lifting is a good means to target
your problem areas for men and women. It's not necessarily to become a
bodybuilder or even join a gym - a couple of dumbbells will help you
to target your problem areas (stomach, butt, legs, arms, chest). They cost about 3 dollars, and maybe even less on garage sales.Health Question & Answer
